| Madigliani's style was very unique and became very popular. He created flat, mask-like characters in his work. His subject in this piece, sits quietly on a bench but her face lacks a soul, as the face has no detail. Her eyes have no definition and she sits without any posture, somewhat like a doll propped against the wall. |
