Renoir continues to show real life in this painting as he depicts a group of women in an open salon. It is not as whimsical as many of his other paintings, as the detail is much clearer. This painting catches a glimpse of the young women in the house but Renoir also shows a little boy that seems completely disinterested in what the other women and young girl are doing. |
